The Tuvla field notes

Explore house prices by postcode

A postcode is a useful place to begin, but it is only part of the picture. Seeing individual sales on a map helps you understand how one street relates to the next.

Find the area you want to explore

Open the Tuvla map and enter a postcode. You can search from your browser without sharing your location. The map takes you to the area so you can select buildings and explore available property records.

Look beyond a headline average

A postcode may include different property types, ages and tenures. A handful of expensive homes or a new development can make an average less representative of the property you care about. Read the individual transactions and dates.

Compare neighbouring streets

Nearby homes can have different surroundings, layouts and access to amenities. Use the map to see where transactions happened, then research those local differences. The nearest sale is not automatically the most relevant comparison.

Keep coverage in mind

Tuvla uses HM Land Registry sold-price data for England and Wales. Postcode search and map coverage do not mean sold-price records are available everywhere. Scotland and Northern Ireland have separate property registration systems.
