Quick explanations for the questions most likely to come up while using Tuvla.

Does Tuvla cover all of the UK?

The map can show places across the UK, but HM Land Registry sold-price records cover England and Wales. Tuvla does not currently provide equivalent sold-price coverage for Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Do I have to share my location?

No. Search by postcode to explore an area. If you choose to use your location, your browser will ask for permission. You can change that permission in your browser settings.

Is a recorded sale price a current valuation?

No. It is the price recorded for a past transaction. A home’s condition, tenure, alterations and the local market may have changed. Use the information as a starting point for further research.

Why does Tuvla ask for location and motion?

Location and motion let Tuvla show your live position and direction on the map. This is central to exploring the buildings around you. You remain in control through iPhone or Android settings.

Why can a property be missing?

Map outlines and sold-price records come from different sources and do not always match. New sales can also take time to appear in official records.

Do I need an account?

You can explore the map without an account. Sign in is required for private features such as saving a property or managing account data.

Where do the sold prices come from?

Tuvla uses HM Land Registry Price Paid Data. It shows recorded transactions and should not be treated as a current valuation or financial advice.
